Since their first publication as pamphlets, Wage-Labor and Capital & Value, Price, and Profit have served as popular introductory materials to Marxist political economy. Wage-Labor and Capital is based on lectures delivered by Marx to the German Workingmen’s Club of Brussels in 1847, while Value, Price, and Profit is based on a lecture given by Marx before two sessions of the General Council of the First International Working Men’s Association in London in 1865.
