Selected Works of Pádraig Pearse

This volume contains all of the most important works of Pádraig Pearse alongside some of his lesser known works. The texts included here were selected in order to represent the totality of Pearse’s thoughts on language, nationality, and physical force republicanism. While he remains a titanic figure among Irish republicans of all stripes to this day, primarily for his role in organizing and leading the Easter Rebellion in 1916 that established the Irish Republic, he is lesser known outside of the shores of Ireland.
