Selected Works of James Connolly

This volume contains all of the most important works of James Connolly alongside some of his lesser known works. The texts included here were selected in order to represent the totality of Connolly's thoughts on labour, socialism, and Irish national liberation. While he remains a titanic figure among Irish republicans and socialists to this day, primarily for his role in commanding the Irish Citizen Army during the Easter Rebellion in 1916 that established the Irish Republic, his writings remain among the most original contributions to socialist thought produced in the English-speaking world.
