Selected Works of Georgi Dimitrov

Collected in this volume are the most significant works of Comrade Dimitrov, leader of the Bulgarian Communist Party, the Communist International, and architect of the theory of the anti-fascist united front. Included are his early works on the development of capitalism in Bulgaria and the role of trade unions, his valiant speech before parliament opposing World War I and war credits, his world-historic defense of Communism against the Nazi hangmen at the Leipzig Trial, his theoretical work presented at the Seventh Congress of the Communist International outlining the necessity of a world anti-fascist united front, and finally, his work detailing the history of the Communist movement in Bulgaria, the country’s liberation war against Nazi-fascism, and the establishment of People’s Democracy and the construction of socialism.
