On Exercising All-Round Dictatorship Over the Bourgeoisie

Zhang Chunqiao, a loyal student of Chairman Mao, takes up the Chairman’s call for Communists and the masses to gain clarity on the question of the Dictatorship of the Proletariat. In this pamphlet, Comrade Zhang demonstrates that so long as commodity production and bourgeois right persist, new bourgeois elements will continuously be formed within society and the Party, and that these elements will seek to subvert the Dictatorship of the Proletariat and restore capitalism. The Soviet experience under Khrushchev and Brezhnev proved that capitalism can be fully restored behind a socialist facade — and that without practicing all-round dictatorship over the bourgeoisie across every sphere of society, the continuation of the revolution under socialism in order to reach communism cannot be assured.
