My People Shall Live is the autobiography of Leila Khaled, the Palestinian revolutionary who became an international symbol of armed resistance through her participation in two commando operations carried out by the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine in 1969 and 1970.

Edited by George Hajjar in 1971, the book traces Khaled's journey from her expulsion as a child from Haifa in 1948, through the refugee camps of Lebanon, her political formation in the Arab Nationalist Movement, and her development into a combatant in the ranks of the PFLP. Khaled recounts the events of her life alongside the broader history of the Palestinian struggle — the Nakba, the rise and fall of Nasserism, the June War of 1967, the emergence of the armed resistance, and the massacres of Black September.

My People Shall Live situates the Palestinian national liberation movement within the worldwide struggle against imperialism, Zionism, and Arab reaction, and stands as a testament to the militants that have taken up arms for the total liberation of Palestine.
