In this article the Great V. I. Lenin lays out foundational organizational principles for the Party and its work. Lenin, writing in 1902 during the struggle to constitute the Bolshevik Party and alongside classic works such as What Is to Be Done?, speaks on the need to transform "Every factory [into] our fortress," the relation between various Party committees and organisms, and the role of literature in the revolutionary movement. Also included are Lenin's Preface and Postscript, which provide important information regarding the context in which A Letter to a Comrade was written.
