Pause in Service
#

Prairie Fire Publishing regretfully announces a temporary pause of our online book sales due to our print-on-demand service provider suspending our account following alleged complaints about certain titles in our catalog, particularly those offering historically accurate accounts of Israeli-Zionist actions against the people of Palestine. This swift act of repression caught us unprepared, revealing a strategic vulnerability in our distribution model that we should have anticipated. This incident, however, is not isolated; it must be understood as part of a broader, systematic effort to suppress Palestinian fighters and their allies globally. The targeting of publishers, writers, and organizations that amplify the rebellious masses resisting Israeli-Zionist and Imperialist monopolizing of media and press is characteristic of a larger strategy aimed at suppressing the working class and all oppressed people, erasing class-conscious literature by force, and with the aim of maintaining the Old State and the bourgeoisie.

By stifling historical truths, these actions perpetuate a censorship that transcends borders, further seeking to harm the ever resilient and defiant Palestinian fighters and their working-class supporters who already face immense oppression in their fight for political power and self-determination. Despite this setback, we are working diligently to restore service while simultaneously developing alternative distribution channels, including strengthening our direct-to-reader capabilities, expanding on-the-ground sales networks, and enhancing bulk ordering options. We remain committed to participating in the various May Day events as planned, viewing this as a critical opportunity to connect with workers and revolutionaries and continue our mission of arming the working class with important revolutionary classics and progressive texts. We consider this challenge merely a technical obstacle rather than a roadblock to our goals, and we appreciate your patience and continued support during this transition period.

Update #1
#

Prairie Fire Publishing continues to stand firm against attempts to suppress revolutionary literature. Despite recent actions aimed at disrupting our operations, particularly regarding publications supporting Palestinian resistance and working-class movements, we remain committed to our mission. We are once-again accepting and fulfilling bulk orders, and our Publishing Team is actively developing solutions for our direct-to-reader shipping service, with completion expected by Friday, April 18th. We extend our deepest gratitude to all friends and comrades whose solidarity has strengthened our resolve, demonstrating the power of action against censorship. We will maintain regular updates as our services continue to resume.

Update #2
#

We are pleased to announce several significant developments in our operations at Prairie Fire Publishing. Our new ordering interface is now live and accepting direct-to-reader orders, with our complete catalog of publications fully restored. While we’re initially proceeding with U.S.-only shipping, we plan to restore international availability in phases over time. To ensure sustainability while maintaining accessibility, we’ve implemented minor price adjustments to offset necessary operational costs. We appreciate your patience and support throughout this transition period. Regular updates on our services will continue as we progress toward full operational capacity. We remain committed to the necessity of providing revolutionary and progressive texts to workers and revolutionaries!
