This is a short article by Lenin on the use of strikes. He identifies, drawing from Marx and Engels, that the strike educates the workers as a “school of war”. Through the strike, workers begin to see themselves as a powerful and unified class rather than isolated and powerless individuals, capable of truly taking on the combined might and interests of the capitalist class.
